Four sections: Mets Section 16, Mets Section 17, Mets Section 18, and Mets Section 19 are located between home plate and third base. Mets Section 15 is positioned directly behind home plate in line with the pitcher’s mound. The Mets Delta Club is further divided into four sub-sections corresponding with distance to the field. Mets ticket holders in the closest two sections, Mets Delta Club Platinum and Mets Delta Club Gold, are given access to both the Citi Field Delta Sky 360 Club and the Citi Field Delta Sky 360 lounge. Mets Delta Club patrons in the two cheaper sections, Mets Delta Club Silver and Mets Delta Club, only receive access to the Citi Field Delta Sky 360 Club. Unlike many similar seating areas throughout Major League Baseball, Mets Delta Club ticket holders must pay for food and beverages throughout the Citi Field Delta Sky 360 Club. Prices include $8 for a bottled beer and $21 for a platter of fries. Even more curious is the fact that fans must have a Delta Club section ticket to gain entrance to the Citi Field Delta Sky 360 Club, but the club is only open during game times. Given the premium seats and high price, it is questionable why Mets fans would pay for a great seat only to spend the duration of the game in a restaurant with no direct view of the field.
